On Sunday Nov. 5, 2010 the Panickers (who are our friends) came over to are house for bible study, they come over every other week on Sundays. Well anyway We played hide-and-go-seek with Elaka (who is our dog) with her on the leash. After awhile Abel and Sarah(who are the Panicker children) were getting bored of that so we stopped and waited a little bit.
Then we saw the flying termites coming out of the ground. Tim went to get a container to keep them in. So we all were running around trying to catch them, I found our gun and started to swat them, I got a couple but not many. Well the bible study was over now and the grownups came out and started talking. After awhile the Panickers (who are Indians) left and went back. Mama had an Idea to get a bottle and stick it over the hole where the termites were coming out. Timothy took the container that we were keeping them in and opened it up and Elaka ate them all. So then we started to catch them again and pretty soon we had a bunch again and this time we had two containers so we opened them up again and Elaka wouldn't eat them so Tim went away but I knew Elaka she had to wait for the order to eat then she would gobble them up, so I said, "okay" and she ate them. So then I desided to eat one ugh it taisted a bit to bad, grasshoppers are a lot better.

ReplyDeleteTheir wings are greesy, Grasshoppers are best when you cook them we did that once in Nebraska.
